Wrapping up my Baler travel diary (see first & second here) with trekking to Mother Falls (also known as Dimatubo Falls). From our guesthouse, it took 30-45min drive to reach Barangay Dimatubo in the town of San Luis. In checkpoint station, we paid for entrance fee (P30/head) and were escorted by a tour guide (P300). There’s also a parking fee (P30) in the main entrance of the attraction so make sure to bring enough budget for these expenses.
Mother Falls can be reached by approximately more than 1km trek. Sounds easy right? I know. Haha. The trail was rocky and slippery but the air was refreshing. Seeing the beautiful falls was divine. Though it’s a bit crowded as tourists were taking a quick bath, I was marvelled by the water gushing from the top. Heaven! This short trek was indeed perfect to sum up my summer experience in Baler. Watch out for my first travel vlog entry soon! <3
