Honestly, words are not even enough to describe the whole experience. Travelling to utmost western part of the Philippines is a dream come true and up to this moment, the beauty of Bolinao still spellbinds me. Despite being speechless, I’m glad to impart every bit of our splendid trip and answer possible questions you may possibly raise when you’ll read this. Hope this would help. <3
Q: How did you get there?
We travelled by car and took the SCTEX-TPLEX route (see below table of transportation expenses). It took us five hours to reach the destination. Take note: Bolinao is miles away from Alaminos and some towns in Pangasinan so don’t underestimate the distance unlike we did. Haha. And oh, Waze is a great help!

Q: Where did you stay?
Since we wanted to capture the rock formations along Patar Beach, Rock View Beach Resort was the perfect place for us. Though it’s quite farther than other resorts, we had nothing to ask for. We loved the native and relaxing touch of their Kubo Fan Rooms (see below detailed rooms & rates). Aside from affordable rates, Rock View offers 24hr accommodation in all rooms. The rock formations are just few steps away from our room and guess what was our music playlist? The rushing waves.

Q: Any important reminders?
Bring packed meals and ready to eat goods as there are no fast food chains/restaurants situated near the place. Collect shells. Take lots of pictures. Play with the waves. Enjoy! If you’re still not fully convinced to visit the place, let these photos do the talking. Check out my separate post for Patar Beach. 🙂
