HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE! At this point, we officially welcome 2018 with a new hope, enthusiasm and energy. While we map out our plans and even resolutions for the new year, let’s also take a moment to sit down, revisit the old pages and reflect on the past year.
While going through some old entries, found this piece written almost four years ago. It feels good having beautiful memories to look back on, so I decided to update and repost the entry here on the blog.
It was 2013 when I first went to SM North Edsa Skydome as a delegate for Global Youth Summit, a gathering of youth leaders from all over the country, in which HAU was one of participating schools. Fast forward to first of November this year, everything felt like new coming back for a different purpose and totally remarkable experience – KJP Conference.
She calls me “Yeyey” while she calls my Mom, “Nanay”. A kiti-kiti kid. Loves to play with cats and dogs. Hates the sound of thunder. Dances to any kind of music even it’s an ad jingle on tv and radio. Eats everything but not into sour foods. Our happy bubble. Meet my niece, Ella.
Still on a birthday high and can’t get over it as I’m writing from Queen City of the South!!! Aaaaah I can’t believe this is happening! I’m dumbfounded by the fact that I’m here in Cebu for a birthday trip!!! *Sorry for abusing the punctuation mark (!)*
