Part of accepting Jesus as my Savior is learning to let go of “my ways”, committing to stop overthinking everything and surrendering all to God. It doesn’t mean I no longer have dreams and care about my future, but approaching God and asking anything according to His will (1 John 5:14) truly matter now as He knows His plans for me, plans that won’t harm me but will give me a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).
I’m not encouraging you to ditch planning for today, tomorrow and the future. We’re very much free to do that as long as beyond those long lists and lofty goals, we set our minds on things above (Colossians 3:2), pursue God’s perfect will and let Him guide us every step of the way.
Now, I’m sharing with you #1-10 of my 18 faith goals for 2018. You can also come up with your list and I pray that God will bless your year greatly.
