The beach was crowded on the last day of Surf Break 2016 thus, we decided to go back the next morning. Voila! No flock of tourists in sight.
We took time to enjoy the view, take some photos and dip in the water. No wonder why San Juan is considered as Surfing Capital of the North – the waves are huge and the current is surprisingly stronger than in Baler. But the best thing is that you don’t have to worry about cottage rentals as there are huts along the beach where you can stay for free. We stayed in the beach for hours and just got up when we starved for lunch. Yes, we looked like an overcooked steak. No regrets, though. Haha!
