Life Lately: #KJP Bataan + May Favorites Atbp.

Jansell Iris Simbulan - Life LatelyIt seemed that I just wrote my first Life Lafely post last week – time flies really quick! And to keep you in the loop, I’m sharing with you another entry that highlights what I’ve been up to lately along with what I’ve been loving in the month of May.

I’d like to say that this is an unforgettable summer not because of beach trips (by the way, I didn’t have one haha!) or any summer escapades, but simply because of many, many things that took place this season. It’s my first time to host for Kay Jesus Ang Pinas’ annual Summer Hope Fest and wow, God did much great things in Bataan that night!

Thank you KJP, Brave Church and TCC family. Thank You Jesus! <3

“Limitless” by Nick Vujicic. So much love for this devotional book that I got to read it twice. The book is packed with wisdom and positivity. Nick’s life story is so inspiring. Born without arms and legs, he has a different outlook in life and I’m moved by his great amount of hope, faith and deep relationship with God.

The Face Shop Jeju Aloe Vera Gel. I have this notion that I can’t use moisturizers as I have oily skin – ditched the whole thought eventually. Thanks to Tin and Weng for recommending this gel that can be used for various purposes including moisturizing, soothing, facial pack and after-sun care. Formulated with 99% Aloe Vera Leaf Extract, it soothes and moisturizes the skin and the best thing about the product? It’s super light on my face and doesn’t leave any sticky residue behind. Oh ha, bumu-beauty blogger. Haha!

And who doesn’t want affordable skincare product by the way? 😊 TFS Jeju Aloe Vera Gel only costs P195 and I even got this from their Buy 1 Take 1 promo pa, amazing!

Happy Cup Milk Tea. This is a gem for milk tea lovers and fan ng vlogs ni Alex like me! I think I had my Happy Cup for three times last month in different branches pa. Haha! My best pick is Okinawa Milk Tea.

St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub. No wonder why this is regarded as a cult classic in beauty world. The product really works wonders as a deep cleansing scrub. I use this 2-3 times a week and I love how it gives the skin an ample amount of softness and smoothness after exfoliating.

I may have not been into a number of trips this summer but I’m so glad to be able to spend more quality time with my family, Churchmates and catch up with friends especially those whom I haven’t seen for ages. I also had an amazing time at the launching of Travel Art TV Show, where one of the program hosts is a very good friend of mine, Bianca – proud of you girl!

Meanwhile, check out below clip to see how vlogging can ruin a friendship. Haha!

SM Telabastagan has opened its door in May and is a newest venue to our many, many catch-ups. Though it’s not quite different from other SM malls in Pampanga, some restaurants/food stops are worth visiting! Pancake ni Juan is for affordable yet sumptuous merienda. Dakasi and Happy Cup are for milk tea lovers. Velvet Ganache is for exquisite dining experience. U-Rack is for your BBQ cravings. And oh, SM Telabastagan’s Seafood Island has a very beautiful and island-ish interior!

That’s it for my second Life Lately post. Let me know if you want to read more posts like this. A blessed June to you, loves! 😊
