I mean it when I say I love to explore and experience something new in my hometown. So, here’s one – our recent Lubao International Balloon and Music Fest 2017 adventure! This is part of my PH travel bucket list and I’m beyond happy to tick it off this year.
We bought Gen Ad tickets (P300 each) at SM Clark Cinema and opted to go on the third day (April 08) of Lubao IBMF 2017. Since it’s both our first time, we planned to come early to estimate the travel time and witness the whole show.
*Ticket Prices: General Admission – P300 (1 day pass only from April 6-9) | Gold Ticket – P1500 (valid on April 9)
We hit the road at 3:30AM as Pradera Verde in Lubao is approximately an hour away from Angeles City (via SCTEX). Early birds as we were, we’re glad that the parking space was still empty and the venue itself wasn’t yet crowded. We had plenty of time so we strolled and had breakfast at TAPSILOGAN stall. An hour later, the morning sun greeted us and the program started. I think there were more than 30 hot air balloons that were setup and flown. It’s such an amazing sight!Seeing the balloons up in the sky painting smiles on everyone’s faces makes us so proud of our hometown.
