I have shared bits of our Cebu trip and this is absolutely one of my favorites – dinner at the beautiful La Vie Parisienne. It’s one of the most visited spots not just for fine dining but splendid sight itself. La Vie Parisienne, “Parisian Life” in English, is regarded as the first French Boulangerie, Pastry Shop and Wine Library in Cebu and true to its name, I felt like I was transported to my dream Paris upon entering the place.
As history buff, one of my agenda in visiting Cebu is Magellan’s Cross. I remember seeing the famous landmark on textbooks and post cards. Imagine my surprise when I finally get to see it up close! Not only it’s beautiful and iconic but also it marks one of the significant events in Philippine History.
First on the list: Whale Shark watching in Oslob. Ooops, change of plans. We arrived in our hotel past 11PM from evening flight and an hour travel (via taxi) from Mactan-Cebu Airport thus, we weren’t able to wake up very early the next day. 😀
