TAGAYTAY | FnJ 2nd Anniversary

Tagaytay HDRWe’re thankful for another year full of love, energy and FnJ vibes! Though rainy season is around the corner, we’re unstoppable in our planned anniv trip. It’s totally different this time as we traveled by commuting. Bus to bus, jeepney to jeepney ride, we love everything about it. There’s a whole inexplicable fulfillment in doing this–having no worries if the car would break down in the middle of the road, no too much baggages to care about, and no chances to get lost even we’re both new to the place.

We’re lucky enough to encounter very kind and courteous drivers even we bombarded them lots of questions. Haha. It took almost five hours to reach one of the most visited spots of the country. The cool breeze struck us and it was a perfectly sunny day!Processed with VSCOcam with a5 presetProcessed with VSCOcam with kk1 presetProcessed with VSCOcam with hb2 presetWe’re just in time for lunch and starving badly as we got into the Mahogany Market which is considered by many as Home of Best Bulalo. We found ourselves enjoying a huge bowl of hot Bulalo (P350) at Lyleth’s/Betty’s Eatery. Don’t also underestimate the magic of Crispy Tawilis (P150) as it tastes better than a regular pork chicharon. Done with our first stop and we spent the rest of the day in some famous points of interest in Tagaytay. 🙂DSC_1367Processed with VSCOcam with hb2 presetDSC_1368Processed with VSCOcam with g3 presetDSC_1376DSC_1372

I have been to Tagaytay last Jan 4-6th and I don’t know the place where you ate the Bulalo and Crispy Tawilis! 🙁 Tawilis is my childhood fave.

That was at Mahogany Market, actually quite far from the city proper. I fell in love with Crispy Tawilis! 🙂
