Travelling to a destination new to us won’t be complete without trying its food specialty or local restaurants and when we speak of Pangasinan, seafoods and “bagoong” (fermented fish) are top of the list. Wrapping up our Bolinao trip is a filling lunch at Mangunguna Seafood Bar and Grill.
The restaurant is surrounded by coconut trees that adds tropical touch to its nipa hut-like structure. With that being said, there’s no question in comfort factor. SIZZLING MIXED SEAFOODS (P200). ENSALADA (P100). FRESH BUKO JUICE (P35). RICE (P15/cup).
We loved the foods especially it’s our first time to taste a seaweed. Two types of bagoong were served (as condiment) and fresh buko juice was perfect. We had to cut the dining experience short for we had to head back home thru another five-hour drive. Haha.
