I think my ultimate style prowess (aside from being an Ukay queen!) is planning my outfits in travel. I always do my research on the weather, culture, means of transport and anything else related to the destination before picking clothes to bring with me.
Being OOTD ready in travel should not rely on looking good in photos alone but also being practical from head to toe. I carefully choose which items will work or not to prevent fashion mishaps that may ruin the entire trip. This red summer dress was my take for a Chinese temple visit. First, for the hot weather. Second, the color means a lot to the culture. Lastly, red brightens any look and stands out from backdrops including this beautiful architecture. As Bill Blass quoted, “When in doubt, wear red.”. 🙂
